1. INTRODUCTION
The 45th Meeting of APEC Telecommunications and Information Working Group (APEC TEL45) will be held on the 5 to 11 April 2012 in Da Nang city, Viet Nam. APEC TEL45 meeting is endorsed by the APEC TEL Chair and hosted by the Minister of Ministry of Information and Communications of Socialist Republic of Viet Nam (MIC). Followings are the information for the participants.
2. VENUE
The APEC TEL45 will be held on the 5 to 11 April 2012 at the Vinpearl Luxury Da Nang, in Da Nang city, Socialist Republic of Viet Nam.

3. PROGRAMME
The programme is attached in Annex A1. Annex A2 provides with the programme for the 2nd SPSG Cybercrime Expert Group Meeting which is held prior to TEL45.
4. REGISTRATION
4.1. Online Registration
Registration for all delegates should be completed online. Online registration will be available from 1 March through secured registration website at http://vnta.gov.vn/apectel45
. Registration will be closed on 26 March, 2012.
ID and password for online registration will be sent to the POCS of each economy and also can be obtained from the Local Secretariat by email.
4.2. Registration Desk
Registration desk will be opened for the duration of the meeting and will provide registration and information service.

4.3 Accreditation
Each economy shall appoint a Delegate Accreditation Officer (DAO) who is responsible to:
- Forward APEC TEL 45 information (website, ID and password for online registration) to the delegates of each respective economy and assist in online registration.
- Check and confirm the list of delegates registered online from its economy.
- Submit the relevant documents that are to be discussed during the meeting or working group.DAO’s information (name, designation, contact number, email) should be sent to the local Secretariat by email, lastest by 15 March, 2012. If no DAO is appointed. The Head of Delegation (HOD) will be considered as DAO.
Invited speakers and guests who are not part of any economies delegation will be accredited through the APEC Secretariat.Organizers of APEC TEL 45 workshops or seminars are requested to provide the list of invited speakers and guests who are not part of any economies’ delegation to APEC TEL Chair’s Office and the APEC Secretariat as early as possible, not later than 26 March, 2012.

Contributions from economies are welcome for this event. Your contributions, documents and presentations are encouraged to upload to this website as soon as possible but not later than 5th April 2012.
To support worldwide efforts in combating climate change, delegates are encouraged the use of electronic documents during the meeting. Delegates are encouraged to carry their laptop computers for the meeting.
Sufficient number of PCs and printers, photo copiers will be available at the secretariat room for printing necessary documents by delegates themselves.
7. IMMIGRATION REQUIREMENTS
Visas are exempted for the citizens of the economies, which have signed a bilateral visa exemption agreement with Viet Nam, tourist visa may be valid for 15 to 30 days.
Business visa usually will require an official letter of invitation from a local organization.
Tourist visa can only be obtained in Vietnamese embassies, consulates abroad. For information on entry visas to Viet Nam, participants are kindly requested to contact the Viet Nam's Diplomatic/Mission in their economy before traveling.
It is easy to get your visa from a travel agency. The necessary information to the travel agency includes:

8. TRANSPORTATION ARRANGEMENT
Transport from airport to Vinpearl Luxury Da Nang (or Sandy Beach Resort) and vice versa will be arranged by the host country, upon request from delegates.
Da Nang Airport is located about 8km from the city center which takes about 20 minutes by Taxi to the Vinpearl Luxury Da Nang.
Da Nang city is about 800 km from Ho Chi Minh City and 800 km from Ha Noi. There are 2 frequent daily flights from Ha Noi to Da Nang and 12 frequent daily flights from Ho Chi Minh city to Da Nang.

A wide range of choices in the food/diet from Asian style to Western style is available in hotel restaurants, food-courts. The local cuisine is excellent for different tastes.
